tim li is a designer based in los angeles and shanghai, currently working at curio home goods.

tim draws reference from culture and history to reimagine opportunities. from ideation to the final outcome, he is interested in crafting visual stories that fuses aesthetics, graphics and emotion. he strongly believes that his role as a designer is to create thoughtful, well-built objects that reflect today and last tomorrow.

‘chore’ to ‘cherish’


in an era where people prefer to have things done online, what are the new possibilities that physical branches bear?

the team created a banking experience that transfers ‘chores’ to ‘cherish’- delightful physical encounters and services. we fuse the idea of a ‘third place’ in physical branches to strengthen the community of both customers and customers-to-be. Digital engagement would take care of chore-like banking (transaction & deposit) while physical branches help more with services that require more trust(wealth management, loan, problem-solving).
